NEVADOS DE CHILLAN
Chillán is a high mountain resort, nestled in the Cordillera de los Andes, about 450 km south of Santiago. The region is made up of volcanoes, which creates something very special: a microclimate, which in winter gathers snow and lush vegetation on the slopes, offering a very beautiful landscape and a constant smell of thirst in the air. There are several hotels and apartment condo buildings, an entertainment club, hot springs – its oldest and best known attraction – and the complex has very good services and are recognized for their efficiency and friendliness, either in the restaurants, in the activities of leisure or in the leisure attention of mountain operations.
The Resort offers a relatively small ski center, called Nevados de Chillan, but with a good number of tracks and suitable means of elevation – one of the local attractions is the longest track in South America. Nevados de Chillán is 1,530 meters above sea level, with 32 tracks and 30 km prepared on a 10,000-hectare ski area. It has 9 lifts (including 5 armchairs and 4 pomas). With an unevenness of 870 meters, Nevados de Chillán is a place that offers multiple alternative activities, such as: CatSkiing outings, Snowmobiles, Zipline and Thermal Center. We have nine thermal water pools open all year round, surrounded by spectacular scenery.
